Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® and MBTI®

What is the MBTI® ?

A valuable tool that values diversity” (pdf 150 Kb)

The Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator® (MBTI®) is a widely used psychological tool for understanding personality and behaviour.  Based on C.G. Jung’s theories, the MBTI® provides valuable insight into the different ways people view the world, relate to others, make decisions and organise their lives.  The MBTI® is used extensively in personal, career, and organisational development.  More than 3,000,000 Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® assessments are interpreted worldwide every year.

How can I learn about my personality type?

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® consists of a series of questionnaires that give insight into personality type. These questionnaires are administered and assessed by professionally qualified practitioners. You can contact the NZAPT office to locate registered MBTI® practitioners in your area.
